1. Organiser

The giveaway is organised by Ruderverein Villach von 1881, Ossiachersee-Süduferstraße 67, 9523 Villach-Landskron, Austria, register number ZVR 186547003.

2. Entry period

Entries close on 14 September 2026 at 23:59 CEST. Comments or submitted entry forms received later are not eligible.

3. Eligibility and entry

• Entry is free and no purchase of goods or services is necessary.
• Entrants must be natural persons aged 18 or over and legally permitted to participate where they live.
• Social media entry: To enter, follow the official account on Instagram or Facebook and comment on the respective official giveaway post. Alternatively, complete and submit the entry form on our website or on the tablet at our stand in Bled. First name, last name, email, birth year, country, accommodation preference and companions are required; the free-text answer is optional. You must accept the terms. These form-based entry routes do not require a social account, following or commenting. Newsletter subscription is optional and does not affect the chance of winning. Only one entry per person counts across all routes; duplicates are combined before the draw.
• Employees of the organiser and persons directly involved in designing or running the giveaway, as well as members of their households, are excluded.
• Automated, abusive, unlawful or platform-rule-violating entries will be excluded.

4. Prize

The prize is a hotel and experience week for two from 18 to 25 September 2028 at the World Rowing Hotel by ROBINSON.

• Travel to and from the hotel and transfers are not included.
• The prize is non-transferable, has no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged. If objectively necessary, programme elements may be replaced by equivalent services.

5. Draw and notification

On 15 September 2026, one winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries across all routes. Social entrants are contacted by direct message; website or tablet entrants by email. If there is no response within 72 hours, another winner is drawn. No payment or bank/card details are required for winner notification.

6. Data protection

The controller is Ruderverein Villach von 1881, Ossiachersee-Süduferstraße 67, 9523 Villach-Landskron, Austria, ZVR 186547003. Contact: office@wrmr2028.com. The website and tablet entry routes record your name, email, birth year, country, preferred accommodation, companions, optional free-text answer, language, timestamp, entry source and accepted terms version. Do not include health information or other people’s personal data in the free-text answer.

The publicly visible profile, comment and contact details supplied for prize fulfilment are processed to run the giveaway. Data is disclosed only to service partners required for fulfilment and deleted after completion, subject to statutory retention duties. Further information is available in the website privacy policy.

Name, email, age information and acceptance of the terms are processed to run the giveaway (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Country, accommodation and companion preferences and the optional answer support event planning based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). You can object at office@wrmr2028.com. These answers do not determine your chance of winning or any automated winner selection. After completion, planning information is used only anonymously; personal giveaway data is deleted unless required for prize fulfilment, statutory retention or specific legal claims.

The newsletter requires separate, voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Subscription becomes active only after email confirmation. We store your email, name if provided, language and consent evidence. Withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or office@wrmr2028.com. Withdrawal does not affect past lawful processing or giveaway entry. Unconfirmed subscriptions become inactive after 7 days and receive no newsletter. After withdrawal, data is no longer used for newsletters; necessary consent evidence is retained only for legal accountability.

We use Cloudflare for hosting, database and abuse prevention and Brevo for email delivery as processors. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical device and connection information to prevent automated entries (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)). Processing outside the EEA is covered by appropriate safeguards such as EU standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. Only authorised administrators can access entries; there is no public participant list. Tablet inputs are cleared after successful submission or an inactivity warning.

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection and may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at). The required fields are necessary for entry through the website or tablet form; the social entry route remains available under the terms. The separate newsletter sign-up form on our website does not enter you into the giveaway.

7. Platform notice and liability

This giveaway is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram, Facebook or Meta. Any claims relating to the giveaway must be directed solely to the organiser. Meta is released from claims connected with the giveaway. Liability for technical issues outside the organiser’s control is limited to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

8. Changes and applicable law

The organiser may amend, suspend or end the giveaway in the event of manipulation, technical failure or another material reason that prevents proper operation. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Austrian law applies; mandatory consumer jurisdictions remain unaffected. Recourse to the courts regarding the draw is excluded where legally permissible.
