Camping BeachOssiachersee
Camping Beach in the western bay of Lake Ossiach will be home to the 2028 World Rowing Masters Regatta. A jetty, lawn and open views of water and mountains define the confirmed venue; detailed event infrastructure is now being planned.

A restaurant, shop, Wi-Fi and sports areas form part of Camping Beach’s existing infrastructure.

Access, parking, routes, regatta zones and accessible operations will be planned separately for 2028.
Active on Lake Ossiach
Rowing, sailing, SUP and kayaking belong here just as much as relaxed time by the shore. Lake Ossiach is described as calm water with strong water-sports infrastructure.
Gerlitzen & Bleistätter Moor
Trails lead from the lake towards Gerlitzen Alpe and gentle Slow Trails. The restored Bleistätter Moor on the eastern shore is a recognised example of successful conservation.
Villach & Alps-Adriatic
Villach’s old town blends an Austrian soul with Mediterranean flair. Italy and Slovenia are close by, and three cultures shape the region.
